I suppose the most obvious question is why EightFootBrands, and why now? And if I’m honest, the most obvious answer is as simple as “current events.” Simply put, the powersports aftermarket is at a once-in-a-generation inflection point, the likes of which have never been seen. Dealer closures and consolidation are accelerating. Legacy OEMs are scrambling through strategic resets. Tariffs are squeezing margins on steel, aluminum, and components. Consumer habits are shifting from volume-driven buying to value-driven loyalty. Social and cultural upheaval, combined with the rise of AI-driven digital commerce, are creating seismic disruptions that are on course to impact every sector — from retail to product brands to distribution. Many legacy brands will perish, and countless new concepts will take their places. Tick, tock. Tick, tock.

It was obvious that, like most industries, powersports hadn’t future-proofed itself from the inevitable oncoming reality that it couldn’t avoid.
